Medicine Hat College KNES 220 Student OptionsKNES 220 - Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries: This course is designed for the student to gain an understanding of the basic theories and techniques used in the management of athletic injuries. This course will provide guidelines and recommendations for preventing and recognizing injuries, and learning how to effectively manage specific injuries. The course focuses on strategies that prevent and minimize activity-related injuries and conditions as well as focuses on the recognition and management of specific injuries and conditions. Students enrolled in physical education or kinesiology programs at post-secondary institutions can earn a Certificate of Achievement in Athletic Injury Management and Sport Taping & Strapping by completing recognized courses. The Medicine Hat College KNES 220 Course is currently recognized by the SMCA and is eligible to receive certificates of achievement. |
